Where mucuna disappoints
- Highly variable L-DOPA content. Raw seed varies 3–6% L-DOPA; extracts range from 15% to 99% (isolated). Dose accurately by L-DOPA content, not "mucuna extract" mg. - This is a real drug. Nausea, orthostatic hypotension, arrhythmia, psychosis at higher doses. - Not for casual mood/motivation dosing.
